More 95% of pearl gems available today are cultured and are not natural. The pearls that are 'cultivated' by man are called cultured pearls and these are cultivated in special farms called pearl-famrs. The black pearls are most popular among all the natural pearls. These are also called the Tahitian pearls and are available in natural black color. As lack represents power and influence, men love these.
