Port Dover area is very famous for its natural beauty, the surrounding area is always very busy in the summer with many wishing to enjoy the free time in breathtaking location. This could be a great place to hire a sweet cottage this year to be enjoy time with friends and family. The rental prices in this area are very affordable also. The roads are good and the drive is mostly fun to arrive from the nearby cities. The natural beauty of this has made many people move to this as their choice for acquiring a holiday home.
The names of these cottages are also sweet like, Maple Cottage, White Rose Cottage, one feels instant feeling of being transported to sweet English country side. Our search for finding the best cottage at reasonable price took us to this is beautifully built 50s style cottage, almost 1/2 miles south of Port-Dover right at the front of the scenic Lake Erie. The Lake is very close here, in just two minutes one can be on the terraced bank. There are always many empty beach chairs with shade inviting you to sit and relax. There are other beautiful areas in walking distance like best parts of Lake Erie and you could even end up in Long Point. The flat-shale shape beach starches from sides of shoreline. The children can swim without much worry as the water is always crystal clear.
The rates at this time of year could be starting $110 - $145 on week days. The week end rates are higher $375 - $550. You can rent the house for full week at $750 - $1000. There are some cottages on lesser rates also, but the ones we saw are in best condition to say the least. The BBQ, satellite TV, and fire pit, with Picnic Table were also thrown in as bonus. Needless to say the breathtaking Port Dover has become a must have holiday retreat for most of our friends.
The fully-furnished Vacation Rentals by Owner are well-equipped, neat and clean. The design contains 2-3 bedrooms, living room, study, and spacious kitchen. The 2-3 bath rooms are with shower, and so in away you need only to bring your suit case with cloth and start living here. If you need more space there are other solutions also, with unique bungalows. These are approximately 1200-1500 square feet. The bathtub/shower are good sized, the best part is the French windows that open to the lake with large sofas right there to be part of view for hours.
